Ben Sandri is a D.S.W.A. certified dry stone wall instructor and level 3 waller.  He began learning to work with stone in 2000 from his brother and father.  He finds joy in how building with stone is at once a systematic process and an artistic one.  Ben grew up building with randomly shaped hunks of granite field stone, and still loves working with the roughest stuff he can find.
